Privacy policy

RoamTested (roamtested.com) is a static website run by an independent publisher. I keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site, and I don't sell or share your data. This page explains what is processed, why, and what rights you have.
Who is responsible
This site is operated by an independent publisher who acts as the data controller for the limited processing described below. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
What I collect
- Nothing you type. This site has no accounts, no comments, and no forms. I never ask for or store your personal information through the site.
- Basic, anonymous server data. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse and attacks. Cloudflare acts as a data processor on my behalf, and as a global network it may process this data on servers outside your country. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Legal basis (for EU/UK visitors)
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, the limited server-log processing above relies on my legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website. It is not used to build profiles of you or to track you across other sites. Because this site sets no analytics or advertising cookies of its own, no cookie-consent banner is required at this time.
How long data is kept
I do not maintain my own server logs. Cloudflare retains standard logs for a limited period under its own retention schedule (see its privacy policy above). Emails you send me are kept only as long as needed to handle your message.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. Those cookies belong to the provider's site and are governed by their privacy policy, not mine. See my affiliate disclosure for how this works and how I make money.
If you email me at [email protected], I use your address only to reply.I will never add you to a mailing list unless you deliberately sign up for one, and I never share or sell your address to anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data relating to you, and to object to certain processing. Since this site stores no personal data of its own beyond any email you choose to send, most requests can be handled quickly — just contact [email protected].
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
